PaperlinX Singapore Receives Prestigious CSR Award
The Singapore Compact, a national organisation that promotes and strengthens Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), confers the highly-coveted Accountable Marketing Award to PaperlinX Singapore.
Represented by their Managing Director Genevieve Chua, PaperlinX Singapore was one of the seven companies honoured during the the inaugural CSR Awards held last 7th October 2010
The Accountable Marketing Award is given to companies embodying a solid relationship between their products & services and their customers. The criteria includes ethical marketing, product or service innovation with outstanding social or environmental impact, promoting positive change through better end-user behaviour, exemplary post-commercial transactions and excellent collaboration with stakeholders in addressing product concerns.
As Singapore’s pioneer in the promotion and use of sustainably-sourced paper products, PaperlinX Singapore takes pride in its dedication to responsible business practices to support sustainable development. According to Miss Chua, “The Accountable Marketing Award is proof of our commitment towards educating our customers on environmental messages and offering practical and affordable green products for their marketing needs, all of which are done on the backbone of ethical and responsible practices.”
PaperlinX Singapore’s CSR efforts over the last few years focused on promoting sustainable forest management practices to their end-users, mainly through talks, presentations and seminars. Most importantly, the company “walks the talk” by offering products that are appropriately certified, and over the last few years became one of the first merchants accredited by stringent independent organisations such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
